We’re thrilled to announce that St Vincent will be performing in the beautiful surroundings of The Albert Hall on Wednesday 22nd October!
St. Vincent is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She began her music career as a member of The Polyphonic Spree and was also part of Sufjan Stevens’ touring band before forming her own band in 2006.
St Vincent became one of the unexpected success stories of the indie-rock world when second album ‘Actor’ saw her become an immediate hit with the critics and then broaden her success into the peripheries of the mainstream. The following year she embarked on a project with ex-Talking Heads frontman David Byrne, initially planning a one-off live collaboration but developing into a full album together. The resulting record ‘Love This Giant’ once again raised the critical bar and established her as one of the must-see upcoming songwriters on the live circuit.
After releasing her eponymous fourth album in February this year once again five star reviews followed, and now she’s coming back to the UK to celebrate its success with a huge show at The Albert Hall that’s set to prove just how much of a star she is.
