Just before Christmas 2022, we handed over a longlist of acts to our audience and asked you to whittle it down and give us our Albums Of The Year List for 2022! After much deliberation, here it is:
1. Little Simz – NO THANK YOU
Reaching the top is the same act who won our list last year – it’s Little Simz, with her new LP, NO THANK YOU, which was only released in the last month or two of 2022!
Simbi took to our stage in December 2021 and has only gone from strength to strength since, winning the Mercury Prize for her previous album and becoming a household name of her own making!
2. Yard Act – The Overload
Now, having already SOLD OUT their upcoming date at our venue on the 29th of April, it seems only right that you voted the Mercury Prize-nominated debut album from Leeds-based locals, Yard Act in at number 2, and we can’t wait to host them!

3. Suede – Autofiction
Soon to be returning to our stage for not just one but two dates in 2023 (having performed here in 2016 + 2019) it’s Suede with their latest album Autofiction who take the third place on our AOTY for 2022!
Their earlier date on the 9th of March SOLD OUT in a flash and their second date on the 29th of March is naturally, close to doing so too…
