The Happy Mondays are to headline the second FAC 51 Hacienda event at The Albert Hall. The Mondays will perform their full live show in a rare club setting along with a soundtrack provided by many of The Hacienda’s finest DJ’s.
Following FAC 51’s sold out New Years Eve Party, The Hacienda’s return is much anticipated with a hometown concert for The Mondays and The Hac.
The Mondays have played various major festivals over the summer, but this gig sees the band in a much more low key environment as they perform for the club where they first started out at a “Battle Of The Bands” concert in 1985, before signing to Factory Records and releasing four albums with the label.
The Mondays are planning on mixing their best known material, album tracks and rarities from their extensive back catalogue, fans can look forward to a wide ranging set delivered by the original line up who have been touring to great reviews and reactions since they first got back together around two years ago.
FAC 51 has put together a strong collection of musical talent to accompany the Mondays at The Albert Hall including Graeme Park, Jon Dasilva, Peter Hook, and Herbie Saccani with The Stereo MC’s also playing live.
