Recently, they have released ‘Don’t Look at Me,’ featuring Aimee Nash, a shoegaze-tinged single with hypnotic vocals and distorted hums of guitar following an (almost) two-year hiatus of creating music. The band has a distinctive 60’s retro-futurist aesthetic and their sound follows the shoegaze subgenre of Indie where their music is classified as ethereal, distorted, and obscured.

The album reached number 2 on the UK’s country charts and featured song, ‘We Don’t Fight Anymore’ reached number 10 on US country charts in 2024. Her sound has been described as contemporary country and bluegrass, with much of her musical influence coming from performing in bluegrass bands and working at Dollywood as a teenager. She writes her music centred around her life and most recently, a divorce in which she inflicts strength and courage on the female listener and finding power in healing after losing love. “I’ve been smitten with Sharon Van Etten since hearing her second album Are We There on the radio when it was released in 2014, and have been dying to see her ever since, but it’s never lined up. She’s been a little under the radar for a couple of years and hasn’t performed in Manchester since she last came to Albert Hall in 2019 and now, she’s BACK. There’s an added bonus of also really looking forward to catching the support act Nabihah Iqbal, who I’ve gladly seen before.”
Hannah Tinker – Marketing Manager
Van Etten is a talented, multi-instrumentalist singer and songwriter who’s influenced heavily by Ani DiFranco, Cocteau Twins, and Joy Division. Possessing a contralto singing voice, her music is described as earthy, harmonious, and raspy and features pop-punk influences in more recent releases. She is pushing boundaries and creating ethereal music, I can’t wait for her to come to the venue!”
Ella Tovey – Team Leader
Embarking on her first tour, Paris Paloma will perform at Albert Hall following the recent release of her debut studio album, Cacophony. This album delves into the dark truths of life as a modern woman, blending haunting songwriting with intense musical crescendos to evoke deep emotional tension. The juxtaposition of Paloma’s light and airy vocals with these darker elements gives her music a mythical, clever, and timeless quality, cementing her reputation as an artist ahead of her time.
