We all lead busy lives, right? How the heck are you supposed to know what the latest new tour announcements are? How will you find out when your favourite band is playing at Albert Hall? Well here’s the solution: It’s our round up of all the latest exciting things that’re coming to our stage, and your insider scoop on the shows that’re about to sell out so you can grab the last tickets before they do…
RICHARD HAWLEY – 7TH OCTOBER
2019 is set to be a landmark year for Sheffield’s favourite music veteran Richard Hawley. He’s releasing his ninth studio album, named Further, and then there’s going to be a musical based on a collection of his songs opening in the steel city. Then there’s the little matter of the man celebrating his 20th Anniversary as a solo artist too!
In the two decades since he’s jettisoned band life, first with The Longpigs, and then as Pulp’s guitarist, he’s had one of the most singular and diverse careers in modern music, but like most people he’s still trying to figure it all out.
“I suppose twenty years is quite a long time in this business, but, to be honest, even after all this time, I’m still a searcher. I’m still genuinely searching for things, in music and in life. I can’t tell you exactly what I’m looking for, or where I’m actually going but when I get there, I’ll probably send you a text.”
Tickets for Richard Hawley on 7th October are on sale now.
MARC REBILLET – MONDAY 11TH NOVEMBER
We’re lost for words as to how to describe the eccentricity of Marc Rebillet. Part comedic, part haphazard electronic high energy one man show improvising full songs from scratch. No two performances are the same. You’ll definitely be on the edge of your seat.
Tickets to see Marc Rebillet are on sale now.
