SHOT LIST 40: WHITNEY

Published Category Reviews

The seven-piece folk act hailing from Chicago performed new material from their latest album Forever Turned Around – A bittersweet collection of songs focusing on themes of falling in and out of love, loneliness, and friendship.  Their unique and soulful sound was perfect for Albert Hall.  Although usually famous for their mellow sound they did not struggle to reach impressive levels of energy throughout their performance and ended with a magical crescendo when performing their encore.  Here are the 5 best shots of the evening courtesy of Jack Kirwin.
