These Australian siblings formed a folk-blues group in 2006 and have released two brilliant albums to date – A Book Like This (8 Sept 07), Down The Way (12 March ’10) – both of which featured in the Australian top ten, the latter hitting the number one spot. They’ve both released two solo albums each to date too to critical acclaim.

Growing up on the northern beaches of Sydney, the Stone siblings were schooled in pop music at an early age by their father who was in a local cover band. During a gap year Angus started to perform at open mic nights with Julia sometimes on backing vocals. It wasn’t long until Julia too was writing her own material. They played separately billed shows but would each support each other on stage to the point where it made sense to join together. From that moment on the duo soared to success with a string of EP’s being well received before their album too made a success of itself on both sides of the world.
