De La Soul’s date at our venue rescheduled to the 20th of July 2023!
A STATEMENT FROM THE BAND:
We were all shocked and saddened to hear the tragic news regarding the passing of founding De La Soul member, Trugoy the Dove last month.
Understandably, the planned show at Manchester Albert Hall on Wednesday the 12th April can no longer take place but the group are keen to continue with the live shows, as well as bringing some special guests to create a tribute for Dave and honour his legacy.
Our thoughts are with Dave’s family, friends, and fellow De La Soul fans at this time.
All tickets remain valid for the new, sold-out date, however refunds are available from the point of purchase should you require one.

Formed from Long Island, NY roots in 1987, the trio is known as De La Soul changed the landscape of hip-hop as we knew it. Now, for an incredible 30 years, they have rocked us with inscrutable samplings, whimsically irreverent lyrics, social commentary, light rhythm, and laid-back rhymes. They have gained respect within and outside the hip-hop community with their contributions to rap, as well as jazz, funk, soul, and alternative genres. Not only are their musical innovations acclaimed and respected worldwide, but they paved a path for many alternative rap groups to come after them.
