Few artists have risen through the ranks of UK Dance Music as quickly as Liverpool-born, Manchester-based Joe Germains, aka Faster Horses

Jumping into the scene as a fresh-faced 18-year-old back in 2020, they quickly made a name for themselves, pushing a unique brand of trance-tinged techno, drawing inspiration from the vibrant dancefloor culture of cities like Copenhagen and Berlin. This led to a slew of international debuts across the continent before he had even set foot in the booth of a UK club.

Making the move to Manchester in 2021, Joe began to pull inspiration from his new home, cutting his teeth in the sweaty, packed out basements of Fallowfield, along with institutions such as The White Hotel, Hidden and The Warehouse Project. Quickly developing a love for the music the north had to offer, Joe found himself developing a broad range of tastes, from UK techno to Jungle, Garage and Baseline, all of which played a part in the artist he has become today.

Being quickly picked up by UK Techno giant Teletech, Joe saw himself rising with the party, and suddenly playing much larger stages, inspiring a cult following along the way. As time went on, Joe found himself leaning more towards the sounds of his home, developing a deep love for the culture and sounds of UK Garage and Hard House, leading to a massive change in direction of both his productions and DJ sets.
