Ryan Adams is one of the biggest alt-country musicians on the planet. He’s managed to have commercial success in the genre without being defined by it. The result is thirteen esteemed albums over the last fourteen years, and he’ll be bringing out the next one in September this year. We’re thrilled to have him playing Albert Hall the same month!

Adams is great at mixing the heartfelt angst of a singer-songwriter with the cocky brashness of a garage rocker. He leaps from one genre to another and seemingly conquers all. His time in Whiskeytown led to three fantastic albums, and then Adams’ first solo effort was nominated for the Shortlist Music Prize. He then released the UK-certified gold ‘Gold’, which included the hit single ‘New York, New York’.

The prolific musician has also released five albums with rock band The Cardinals not to mention produced for Willie Nelson and Fall Out Boy, plus collaborated with other notable performers including Weezer, Norah Jones, and Beth Orton.
