This Aussie electronic band are credited with one of the best Australian albums of all time with debut album ‘Since I Left You’, a record made nearly from start to finish with samples, an esimated 3,500 of them within collected over endless hours of vinyl digging to create a kalaidoscope of different sounds from genres around the world. The album’s reputation has grown in leaps and bounds since the original release in 2000, and it’s widely regarded as one of the most seminal records of all time. The follow-up was hotly anticipated, but one didn’t come. After sixteen years the world thought it would never see The Avalanches live again, but in 2016 they returned with ‘Wildflower’ and announced this run of shows in 2017.
