Unfortunately, we do not have any on-site disabled parking, however there are plenty of spaces nearby. Click here to see disabled parking spaces around the city centre.
Yes, we do have a locked lift prioritising Accessibility customers, which it has a capacity of 630kg, our Accessibility Team will help you to access it.
There’s an Accessible Toilet on the Balcony level too which you can use with a RADAR key; if you don’t have one, don’t worry our Accessibility and Security team can assist.

We set out barriers before each event to mark queueing lanes so it should be clear for you to see these, but if not please ask a member of the Security Team outside the doors.
Please be aware that on busy events, queueing times can take up to 30 minutes to enter the building, so we highly recommend you plan your arrival times accordingly.
Yes, our cloakroom is located on the Basement Level, near the Gentlemen’s toilets. We take bags up to the size of an A4 sheet of paper as well as coats and related items. We accept card and cash but please be aware that with cash payments, we are only able to accept exact change.

Management cannot accept responsibility for the loss or damage from any cause whatsoever to articles left unattended at the premises. However, in the unlikely event that your articles in our cloakroom are lost by our team, will reimburse for the missing item, up to the value of £100.
We are a neutral space and abusive, sexist, homophobic, racist, xenophobic, or similar behaviour is not tolerated, and our staff and customers have the right to report such actions to senior members of the team as well as security.
We also operate a zero-tolerance policy with regards to illegal drugs. Anyone found in possession of illegal or contraband goods will be ejected and potentially reported to the authorities. However, if someone in your party is having a reaction to a substance, please alert our staff and medical team immediately.
Our security team reserve the right to conduct searches on anyone entering or exiting the building, as well as to refuse entry without a strict reason. This is to maintain safety and prevent illegal activity.
Refusal to be searched may lead to ejection and indefinite exclusion from returning to our venue.
Please be aware that if you are ejected from an event, you can’t get a refund, so we recommend making sure that all your group are acting appropriately.
Yes, there’s CCTV throughout the building, to keep our customers, staff, and artists safe always.
All our club nights and Bongo’s Bingo events are 18+ and then each gig can be different, just check the event pages on our website before purchasing a ticket. Typically, most of our gigs are 14+ but as mentioned, make sure you check beforehand. If you attend as or with someone under the age limit for an event, even if they’re with a guardian they will not be permitted entry, and we can’t issue a refund.
Please remember to bring ID as ticketholders who are asked and then can’t present it could be refused entry, and, in that case, we can’t issue a refund.
There isn’t a strict dress code at Albert Hall, just no football shirts (unless, naturally, it’s a football event such as a match screening!) If you’re wearing a hat or sunglasses our security team may ask you to remove them.

We operate a Challenge 25 policy on all of our bars throughout the venue, which means that anyone buying alcohol who appears to be below the age of 25 can be asked to provide an acceptable form of ID and our team members can refuse the customer if they don’t have ID in this case.
So please remember to bring ID!
We accept valid passports, driver’s licences or anything displaying a PASS hologram.
We ask that all attendees limit the size of their bags to that of an A4 sheet (21cm x 30cm x 19cm) and one small bag is permitted per person. This policy ensures that we provide a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, while also minimising potential disruptions.
All bags will be subject to search by our Security Team, upon arrival at the venue.
If suitable, you can store your (up to A4 sheet sized) bag in our cloakroom. We apologise for an inconvenience caused but to maintain safety, anything larger, you can store at the following nearby spots:

In terms of photography, smartphones are permitted but professional cameras and recording equipment used by ticketholders aren’t allowed – you’ll be able to spot authorised photographers at the front.
There’ll be a venue photographer at most events, and we reserve the right to use any photographs taken for marketing purposes and attendees automatically agree to their image being used in this way, as a condition of entry.
At certain events, photography (even on smartphones) may be banned, as requested by the artist – if this is the case there will be signs around the venue.
If you want to bring a laptop, it will need to be in a bag and checked into the cloakroom.

We’re always sorry to hear that people have lost items and always keen to help you relocate them so, if you think you have lost something at our venue, please fill out the lost property form, located here. Through the form, you can provide a description of the item you have lost, the date of your visit and further information.
All lost property items are kept for 2 weeks before being taken to charity.
If you left something in the cloakroom, email info@alberthallmanchester.com with a description of the item, and we will arrange a time for collection.
We host mostly standing but also seated shows – you’ll be able to see on your ticket and booking confirmation, as well as throughout the venue what type of show you’re at.
Generally speaking, we’re a fully standing venue with an approved capacity of 1900 people throughout both floors for gigs and 2200 for club nights. If you are at a standing gig, please make sure to stand up where you can so that everyone can fit in the room and view the show.
If you need to sit down due to a medical condition or similar, we have an Accessibility Area where we can accommodate you – please head to our accessibility page and fill in the form here or email accessibility@alberthallmanchester.com to organise this with our team.
We’re afraid not, once you have entered the venue for a gig, club night or Bongo’s Bingo, re-entry is not permitted.
You can find set times on our social media channels on the morning of each event, please be aware though that timings are subject to change and sometimes can be altered (only slightly) quite last minute, it’s just dependent on any unlikely production issues and similar.
We don’t allow outside food and drink to be consumed on-site. There are drinks and snacks (crisps and sweets) available on the bars throughout our venue at all events and for Bongo’s Bingo we have a hot food offering too!

We accept both cash and card payments, as well as contactless.
If you or anyone in your group starts to feel unwell and requires support, please alert a member of staff immediately so that we can provide them with the best care possible. Our senior members of staff are first aid trained, and we have trained medics present at most of our club nights, gigs, and Bongo’s Bingo events.

Due to high demand, we do not allow people to reserve tables at Bongo’s Bingo unless it’s for Accessibility requirements or in some cases VIP needs. If you do have access needs, please head to our accessibility page and fill in the form here or email accessibility@alberthallmanchester.com.
We recommend heading down early for Bongo’s Bingo as tables and spaces operate on a first-come-first-served basis – if you’re a large group or would like a table to ensure you get down as early as possible!
We have a smoking area located at the rear of the building on Ground Level. E-cigarettes or vapes must also only be used here and aren’t permitted throughout the building.
Some artists will have merchandise available to buy and our merchandise stand is located at the back of the Main Hall on Level 1.
We also have our own Albert Hall merchandise, which are available to purchase on all the bars in the Main Hall too.
We’re always keen to hear your ideas and welcome any feedback you have. We send feedback forms to ticket buyers (who purchased tickets through our website) after shows and welcome any suggestions on making every visit world-class. Tickets for gigs and club nights can be purchased through our website; our ticketing partner is See Tickets. Look out for a confirmation email from them (not us) when you make a purchase, with everything you need on it including your ticket – don’t forget to check your junk just in case!
Other official platforms are available to purchase tickets from, just make sure that they’re legitimate, such as Ticketmaster, AXS, Dice and similar.
For Bongo’s Bingo, tickets and further dates can be found through their website.
This means that the event you’re attending is a fully unreserved standing show. If you are at a standing gig, please make sure to stand up where you can so that everyone can fit in the room and view the show.
The company you purchased your ticket through is the best port of call – you’ll be able to see which company it was on any email confirmations, receipts, or bank statements.

Our Box Office is open during every event, from when doors open, with our friendly Box Office team on-hand to help.
Box Office closing time and last entry varies but typically for a gig it’s when the headline artist takes to the stage, for club nights it’s shared in advance and on the event pages on our website and for Bongo’s Bingo it’s on the event pages of their website.
Occasionally there are tickets on-sale for a performance, it just depends on if the event is sold out. You’ll be able to see on our website if there are tickets available and purchase them through event pages.
You’ll be able to see on our social media channels and at the venue itself if there are any tickets available.
We recommend selling your tickets through official re-sale channels such as Twickets and similar, to ensure that real fans purchase them – watch out for touts on social media!

If your ticket is authentic and can be validated by our Box Office team then yes, you will still be able to attend.

Please be aware that if our team can’t validate the tickets and they are fake or duplicates then you won’t be able to enter the event, and we can’t offer a refund.
Our £1 Restoration Levy (added to all tickets over £15) goes towards helping us with the upkeep and maintenance of our Grade II listed building.
With this pot of funding, we undertake valuable maintenance to improve your experience at our venue. Recently we’ve been lucky enough to be able to use it to install a fully functioning lift, to aid our Accessibility customers, you can read about it here.
