As a world-class venue in the heart of Manchester, we pride ourselves on being accessible for everyone who visits us. We wish to create the best experience for our accessibility customers, seek to break down barriers within the live event industry, and are always aiming to improve our guest experience.

Albert Hall is accessible by wheelchair, with a customer lift that takes up to 630kg to take you up to our Wheelchair Platform and fully seated Accessibility Area on our Balcony, offering excellent stage views, as well as a drinks runner to take your orders and who can also help you purchase merchandise.

As our Accessibility Area is fully seated to accommodate everyone, we ask that everyone in this area remain seated when possible, and our staff may remind you to sit down in this area too. This is because it could block the view of others who may not be able to stand for the show. However, we do have a lot of other areas of the venue you can stand up in if you would like to, just ask a member of our team if you’re unsure of where to go.

There’s an Accessible Toilet on the Balcony level too, which you can use with a RADAR key; if you don’t have one, don’t worry, our Accessibility and Security team can assist.

Please note that the Balcony seating has tiered wooden steps, but we provide cushions for our accessibility customers. If you need a seat cushion with back support, please contact our Accessibility Team by emailing accessibility@alberthallmanchester.com or calling 0161 817 3490

STROBE LIGHTING

Strobe lighting, lighting that produces stroboscopic effects, smoke machines, and other theatrical effects may be used during shows in our venue.

DISABLED PARKING

Unfortunately, we do not have any on-site disabled parking; however, there are plenty of spaces nearby. Click here to see disabled parking spaces around the city centre.
