Albert Hall at WOMEX 24 Festival plays host to the Horizons Stage.
With 9 acts over 3 nights, the Horizons Stage celebrates the diverse music from England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland (Alba), and Cymru (Wales) helping talented artists gain international recognition.
Expect Welsh folk, West African Mandé music, avant-garde, Irish rap, hip hop, funk, classical, pop fusion and more.
The Horizons Stage is supported by Arts Council England, Culture Ireland, Arts Council of Northern Ireland, Creative Scotland, Wales Arts International, Arts Council of Wales, British Council, British Underground and Manchester Music City.

Friday Lineup
Balimaya Project (England)
Balimaya Project infuses its music with the folklore and history of West African Mandé culture, combined with the vibrant energy of London. The nine-piece brotherhood features traditional West African instruments, including the balafon (similar to a xylophone) and the kora (a long-necked harp lute), crafting a transformative and healing musical experience.
Cerys Hafana (Wales)
Cerys Hafana is a visionary composer and multi-instrumentalist from Machynlleth, Wales. Known for transforming traditional music with her innovative use of the triple harp, Cerys explores resonances from the past, connecting them with the modern day in a contemporary and creative way to craft a truly unique sonic experience.
Gnoss (Scotland/Alba)
Gnoss’ signature sound is a rich tapestry of acoustic layers; outstanding musicianship, deep traditional roots and contemporary compositional flair combined to create songs and tunes brimming with character. The band has built a devoted following with their forward-thinking approach to traditional music and the unique warmth of their live shows.
