We’ve got two perfect shows on sale today, with Men I Trust and Lloyd Cole! The Canadian independent, indie band are taking to our stage on the 24th of July, as part of the UK tour and Lloyd is returning to our stage on the 10th of October, but this time performing two sets – one solo and one electric with a band!
There’s subtle talk of new music from Men I Trust, with the release of singles Hard To Let Go and Billie Toppy coming at the end of 2022. But nothing has yet been confirmed. Watch this space… Though, if their previous albums (particularly Oncle Jazz and Untourable Album – personal faves) are anything to go by, we’re in for a treat…
Lloyd Cole on the other hand, will release his new album, On Pain, on the 23rd of June through the earMUSIC label. It’s set to be Lloyd’s twelfth album(!) as a solo artist and features Commotions founding members Blair Cowan and Neil Clark, who have also co-written some of the tracks! The album is produced by Chris Merrick Hughes and was recorded in Lloyd’s attic studio The Establishment…
