The band, whose fourth album ‘Luminous’ recently hit the shelves, have risen from their humble goth-punk beginnings to become one of the biggest acts in Britain right now.

The Horrors first gained cult status because of their untamed live shows, getting noticed on the circuit quickly after forming in the summer of ’05. Back then the big-haired, black-clad group had anarchic tunes and a similarly chaotic stage-presence. Debut album ‘Strange House’ led to a world tour and follow up ‘Primary Colours’ elevated their stature even further by incorporating post-punk, shoegaze, and synthesized mayhem into the gothic template.

They’ve since continued to expand their sound in every way possible, innovating and never staying still. ‘Skying’ saw this exploration add elements of ethereal psychedelia to the mix, and new album ‘Luminous’ sees another triumphant return to the musical landscape.
