Sam Smith is no stranger to Manchester. In fact, it’s been a rather pivotal place for their personal and artistic development, having visited our city for over 10 shows throughout their career.

Prior to the show, the star was spotted visiting iconic Northern Quarter institution This & That, taking to their Foodie Instagram account to say that it’s “Everything food should be about”! Fans travelled from across the globe for the event, descending on Peter Street with eager eyes ready to capture an up-close glimpse of the star. Their first visit to the city since a vocal injury cancelled a previous show, these intimate evenings felt like a love letter to their devoted fans, who returned without question and have stuck by them with unconditional support as they’ve explored various creative avenues over the years.
Sam’s shows at our venue saw perhaps our most extensive production yet, with an entirely custom set-up that brought an arena-scale production to our very cosy stage, and we definitely won’t be getting over these shows any time soon…
